Have you been learning how to play the guitar, and struggling to make the link between the tablature on the page of the instructional book and the music you hear? Guitar lessons in Glasgow from an experienced touring musician and teacher will turn the learning curve into a gentle slope
I teach rock and blues electric guitar, and all styles of acoustic guitar playing but specialise in fingerstyle guitar, and can teach you the fundamentals to the little short cuts and tricks that can turn notes into a piece of music.
I have over 13 years experience of playing and teaching including 10 years playing in international touring bands. I am currently a musicworks tutor from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.
Glasgow Guitar Lessons are designed to teach technique and musicality using examples from the students favourite genre. I do not follow a set teaching method but design each lesson around the individual. I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Teachers, and offer the possibility of studying for RGT graded exams organised in partnership with London College of music, or rockschool accredited guitar grades. I have a full enhanced disclosure Scotland certificate
I can teach acoustic guitar to advanced levels, and rock and blues electric guitar to intermediate levels. I also teach beginners 5 string banjo and mandolin. Prices start from £14 for 30 minute lesson and are situated in central Glasgow.
